A dead cactus

This is what the inside of a cactus looks like.
If you would like a little extra info on the cactus read on: If you are ever stranded in a dessert (I know this isn’t the most likely situation) and you are looking for a way to get water out of a cactus you should first, cut the top of the cactus off (this isn’t very easy to do , especially with all the knives you are probably carrying on you). Then you should mush the cactus up into a pulpy mixture (you can do this my smashing or by chewing the cactus). Once you have everything mushed, you should drain the liquid from the pulp (do not eat the pulp) and enjoy the little bit of water you can suck up.
So that is one difficult way to get water in the dessert, I doubt that situation will ever come up, but now you know what to do.
