It Was Good Hiking With You

During the boat ride, my mind was filled with thoughts. I was thinking how exciting it would be tell my family and friends about our amazing experience and that I had successfully finished the W circuit. However as I was thinking, I realized that no matter how many stories I would tell about the hike, no one I knew would ever really understand the experience of the four days. The only people that could relate with the true beauty of the experience were the people that had walked the same footsteps we had. I was very grateful that I had someone that knew how amazing the four days really were, someone that was as moved by nature as I was, someone that could say it really was incredible, and keep my experience from turning into a faded memory of something amazing.

It was good hiking with you Spence.
